Wokingham town mayor Cllr Lou Timlin raised more than £1,300 for her chosen charity, thanks to an entertaining quiz night at The Rose in Wokingham.
Cllr Lou Timlin told Wokingham Today: “I’m delighted that we had such a successful evening!
“The quiz was great fun and I’ve almost got over my team not winning.
“Tickets were sold out and through everyone’s generosity we raised £1344, which is fabulous.
“CLASP does such excellent work in our community and we all benefit from it, so I’m delighted to be able to support them as my charity of the year”
