Reading Buses to increase matchday fares after withdrawal of funding from Reading FC

READING BUSES has announced that prices for their matchday prices for Reading FC games will increase after a withdrawal of funding from the club.

Reading buses has said that the decision to raise costs is ‘unavoidable’ after increases to running costs which has resulted in a change of prices for the 2023/23 season.

The Royals begin their season this weekend in League One when they host Peterborough United (3pm).

Changes will see most single fares increase by £1 while return fares increase by £2. These charges will apply to adults, under 19’s and concessionary fares.
