Reading FC fans have been invited to submit their vote for their Player of the Season for the 2024/25 season.

The Royals have enjoyed an exceptional campaign despite all the turmoil off the field which is still rumbling on.

Starting the season under Ruben Selles, Reading made a strong start and were within the play-off places when the Spaniard departed to join Championship side Hull City.

Since being appointed as first-team manager, Noel Hunt has managed to not only maintain that momentum, but has vastly improved the team’s record away from home.

Reading now have a shot at finishing in the play-off places with just two games left to play.

They sit level on points with 6th placed Leyton Orient with two games remaining.

Reading face relegation battling Bristol Rovers today (Saturday) at 12.30pm, while Orient host automatic promotion chasing Wycombe Wanderers.

The Royals have had several candidates for the Player of the Season award in what has been a memorable campaign on the field.

Midfielder Harvey Knibbs is currently the club’s top scorer with 16 goals and five assists in all competitions.

Young defender Tyler Bindon has also caught the eye which saw him get a move to Premier League Nottingham Forest in January, but returned on loan to Reading for the remainder of the season.
