THERE were congratulations all round at a fundraising concert in Wokingham, when members of Reading Male Voice Choir sang to raise money for Kaleidoscopic UK.
The Finchampstead-based charity, Kaleidoscopic, supports survivors of domestic abuse.
Its founder Vicky Robertson, recently received the Kings Award for Voluntary Service, and was applauded by the singers at their March concert at Wokingham’s Whitty Theatre, in support of the charity.
Three years ago Vicky and the Twyford-based choir’s musical director Clive Waterman were both awarded the British Empire Medal, forging a link between the music group and Kaleidoscopic UK.
“Vicky is an amazing woman”, said Clive “and we are proud to be able to raise funds for her work.”
