A COMMUNITY group is running a special edition of its monthly event to help Spencers Wood residents enjoy their Christmas sustainably this year.
The village’s repair cafe, which usually meets at Lambs Lane Primary School, is running a Christmas lights and ornaments session on Friday, December 1, for those who have old festive items they believe could be given a second lease of life.
This session will take place at the School Green Centre, Shinfield, to coincide with the parish council’s Christmas lights switch-on and craft fair.
Both events take place from 4.30pm-6.30pm.
