The Link Visiting Scheme’s Christmas Party at Loddon Hall brought festive cheer to 150 Link friends and volunteers.
Guests enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea and entertainment from Elements Dance and Theatre Schools, alongside musician Kevin Lowen, who had everyone singing along.
One Link friend said: “I’ve been planning my outfit all week! Chatting to friends, listening to the music.
“The Link thinks of everything to make these parties a highlight of my year.”
“The event was made possible thanks to support from the Berkshire Freemasons, as well as the dedication of staff and volunteers.
For many, Christmas can be a difficult time, so the Link Visiting Scheme works hard to create opportunities for people to connect, celebrate and feel part of a community.
The next festive gathering will take place at All Saints Church, Wokingham, on Thursday, December 18, from 11am until 1pm, featuring St Sebastian’s Band and Soph from Sing for Your Self.
Those spending Christmas Day alone can also book a place at the Link’s lunch for over-60s or request a home-delivered two-course meal by calling 0118 979 8019.
