Residents are reminded that a number of road closures will be in place ahead of Sunday’s David Cliff Wokingham half marathon.
The closures will start from 8am and last until 2pm. They will be lifted in sections where the route can be isolated to protect roads still required by runners.
The race will start at 10am at Cantley Park on Twyford Road before heading into the town centre, then using roads around Billingbear and Hurst.
The mini-marathon will start at 10.15am.
Entries for both events have sold out. No entries are being accepted on the day.
No parking is available at Cantley, or in the surrounding roads. There will be a park and ride service in operation from Coppid Beech and Winnersh Triangle. Runners and spectators are also encouraged to use town centre car parks.
