As works on Heathlands Road and Easthampstead Road come to an end, SGN has started the next phase of its gas mains replacement project.
The next phase started today (October 7), with road closures on Binfield Road (between Twycross Road and Bean Oak Road) and Keephatch Road (between Binfield Road and Moores Green). These closures will remain in place until December.
After completing this phase, SGN will move to Plough Lane, which will also be closed between the A329 London Road and Bean Oak Road.
The project sites will be clear over the Christmas period.
Access for residents and businesses will be maintained where possible, but follow the signed diversions.
In January, works will start on the A329 London Road, with multi-way traffic lights in place at times.
