A WOKINGHAM audience will have a rare opportunity to enjoy a night of sparkling opera fun, without even having to leave the town.
A Taste Of The Opera, by Opera d’Amici, presented by local charity Wokingham In Need (WIN),will bring Royal Opera House professional singers to the borough for an evening of musical delight.
Audience members are invited to dress to impress for the charity event, which offers not only top class musical entertainment, but also a three course dining experience, with an Italian-styled menu, and tables reflecting operatic themes,
A unique programme of opera will be performed by leading singers from across the UK, who are all members of ensemble Opera d’Amici.
The artistes are drawn from prestigious companies including Welsh National Opera, Scottish Opera, English National Opera, and Covent Garden, and the group is known for its engaging performances in theatres, and concert halls.
The fundraising night of opera will take place at Wokingham Town Hall, on Saturday, November 15, from 6.30pm until 10.30pm.
Tickets, which include the three course meal, cost £60 per person plus booking fee.
Tickets are limited, and early booking is advised.
All proceeds will go to Wokingham In Need, a charity that supports the homeless and the most vulnerable in the local community.
