Wargrave & Twyford member Faye Christina Bartlett was the second fastest female with 44 minutes, three seconds and in third was Vicky Bosley Fairbrother with 44 minutes, 52 seconds.
Ellie Gosling from Barnes Fitness, who organised the race said: “It was great to see the Wargrave 10k and kids fun run back on the running events calendar.
“We had more than 300 runners take part in the event on a very hot morning. The runners were very grateful to residents who lined the route with their hose pipes as sprinklers.
“The race was officially started by one of the first members, Doris Eggett, who at 97 is yet to miss a Wargrave 10k. It was a very special moment for the event.”
