A WOKINGHAM restaurant and coffee bar is celebrating the completion of its LoungeAid at Christmas campaign.
The team at Sedero Lounge organised quiz nights, a music bingo evening, ‘pick a stick to win a coffee’ and even a visit from Santa on Christmas Eve.
And Sedero Lounge supervisor Miriam debuted as a performer, singing festive songs throughout busy periods of the last Christmas week.
As a result of its December events Sedero Lounge was able to raise £572 for Thames Hospice in Maidenhead.
Charlotte Deacon, Sedero Lounge general manager, said: “It was a busy fun-packed month with a real sense of the community coming together to enjoy our lounge and raise money for an amazing cause.
“We chose to support Thames Hospice because those that provide palliative care, especially over the festive period, deserve championing.
“There is nothing more beautiful than a community going out of their way to make life a little better for others.”
LoungeAid, established in 2015, unites Lounge teams across the UK in a fund-raising initiative to make an impact.
Lounge has raised almost half a million pounds for local causes, since LoungeAid was founded.
