A CHOIR is welcoming new members as it prepares for its festive concerts.
The South Berkshire Singers meets on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm at All Saints Church in Norreys Avenue, Wokingham.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Ours is a very friendly choir; no auditions are needed and we are privileged to be under the inspirational direction of Karen Philips supported by Simon Dinsdale our talented accompanist, on piano.
“At our summer concert, last July, we were joined by the children of St Teresa’s School, Wokingham and on Friday, October 20, we will be entertaining the residents of Acorn Drive Retirement Home at their Harvest Supper.”
The next concerts are a carol evening at Corpus Christi Church in Sturges Road on Sunday, December 3, and Christmas Carols in Acorn Drive on Tuesday, December 5.
