THIS year the May Fayre will once again be taking place in Wokingham town centre and Elms Field.
It is one of the biggest annual events in the Wokingham calendar and will feature a wide range of activities and attractions for families.
With over 150 stalls, fairground rides, food and drink outlets, live music, a children’s farm, train ride, ferret racing, and Morris dancing, there will be something for everyone.
The day is also an opportunity for local charities to share their work and raise funds for their organisations.
The event is run by the Wokingham Lions Club, in its work to support Wokingham Borough charities and organisations.
The May Fayre will take place in Wokingham town centre from 10am until 5pm on the bank holiday of Monday, May 4.
To apply to be a stallholder at the May Fayre, or at the Wokingham Winter Carnival in November, people can join the Wokingham Lions mailing list at: wokinghamlions.org.uk.
