WOODLEY based Starmaker Theatre Company presents Be More Chill, a lively and energetic musical set in the present day and brought to life with musical accompaniment from a live band.
It tells the story of Jeremy.
He’s just an average teenager – until he finds out about The Squip.
This tiny supercomputer promises to bring him everything he desires most – a date with Christine, an invite to the coolest party of the year and a chance to survive life in his suburban New Jersey high school.
But being the most popular guy in school comes with a price.
The show is based on a novel by Ned Vizzini, with music and lyrics by Joe Iconis.
Parental advisory is recommended for Be More Chill, which contains mature content and strong language throughout.
Recommended viewing is for 12 years and above, but younger children won’t be refused entry.
The show can be seen at Woodley’s Alan Cornish Theatre, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 25,26 and 27.
Doors open at 7.30pm each evening, with an additional Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £18, or £15 for concessions.
