Wokingham Town Football Club is mourning the loss of one of its longest-serving supporters.

Club chairman Steve Williams said: “It is with a great deal of sadness that Brian Bonner has peacefully passed away following a short illness.

“Those who have been associated with the club for a long time will remember Brian very well.

“He was like a second father to me at times, and my thoughts are with his wife Margaret and children Helen and Marc.”
