A BOROUGH music group is offering a free trial session for people wanting to explore choral singing.
Wokingham Singers describe themselves as a relaxed and welcoming choir that sings for fun whilst also taking on some quite challenging pieces.
Their repertoire includes a wide range of songs including choral classics, pop, folk, and songs from musicals.
They currently have around 80 members, both men and women, and are always keen to welcome new singers.
The group performs two concerts annually, and meets at St Crispin’s School, during school term times, on Thursday evenings.
At the trial session, people won’t need to audition, but can instead simply join in with other singers as they start to learn their new autumn term repertoire.
The event will take place at St Crispin’s School, Wokingham, on Thursday, September 12, at 7.30pm.
Free parking is available.
For information, and to arrange to attend the taster session, people should email: wokinghamsingers@gmail.com, or visit: www.wokinghamsingers.org
