Police have confirmed that three men have been charged with robbery and kidnap after being arrested in Lower Earley on Wednesday.
The incident took place around 2pm on April 24, and saw a man threatened with a knife and taken to an address against his will.
In a statement, Thames Valley Police said that the three men appeared at Reading Magistrates Court on Friday, April 26. A full trial will take place on Tuesday, May 28.
The three charged are: Andrew Youngman, aged 34, of no fixed abode, Anthony Pieper, aged 34, of South View Avenue, Caversham, and Thomas Latimer, aged 31 of no fixed abode. They are all accused of one count of robbery and one count of kidnap.
Pieper has been remanded in custody, Youngman and Latimer have been bailed.
