TWYFORD youngsters have been challenged to grow their own potatoes.
Twyford and Ruscombe Horticultural Association (TRHA) is inviting the children and grandchildren of its members to take part in the competition, which begins next month.
Children can plant up their own growbag at the trading store on Loddon Hall Road between 9.30am and 11am on Sunday, March 20.
Potatoes returned to the TRHA summer show on Saturday, June 11, will be weighted and counted, and the winner announced.
There are three age categories, three to six years old, seven to 10 years old and 11 to 16 years old.
