Another property in Wokingham town centre has been listed as available for rent.
The former Doughnut Time, Wokingham Photographic and Mark Rath Estate Agency shop at 24 Denmark Street is now being marketed by a commercial property agency.
Wokingham Today understands the property is owned by the operators of the former RYND restaurant in the courtyard at Wokingham town hall.
In July 2023, the property was adorned with ‘Wokingham General Store’ graphics, giving the impression a new store was about to open.
The property has remained closed since then, with the reference to the general store possibly an indication its owners were using the property as general storage.
This shop joins an ever-growing list of vacant retail properties being marketed for sale in the town.
