Fire officers from Wokingham attended a vehicle fire on Norreys Avenue last Saturday.
In a statement, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue said: “At 2:31pm on Saturday, November 8, we received reports of a vehicle on fire on Norreys Avenue in Wokingham.
“One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham fire station was sent to the scene.
“Upon arrival, the crew found a vehicle’s engine lightly smoking.
|”Firefighters used a hose reel and dry powder extinguisher to dampen down and cool the engine, before advising the owner to contact a mechanic.
”They were on scene for approximately 33 minutes.”
