PEOPLE with extra unwanted seedlings or plants can take them along to a borough sale.
Twyford and Ruscombe Horticultural Association (TRHA) says that no plant will be wasted at their Bring and Buy Plant Sale.
People are asked to bring their surplus plants to the association’s store from 9.15 am on the day of the event.
Vegetables, annuals, perennials, shrubs and house plants will all be welcomed.
Plants must be labelled and, if uncommon, accompanied by some growing advice if possible.
Visitors are advised to bring cash, especially £1 coins, as a card machine will not be available for plant sales.
The event will take place at the TRHA Store by Loddon Hall, on Sunday, June 2.
The Store is open from 9.30am until 11am every Sunday, but opening will be extended by half an hour until 11.30am on June 2, to give more people the chance to buy plants.
