Every year, industry website Hold The Front Page holds a poll asking readers to vote for their front page of the year.
Among the shortlisted entries is a Reading Today front page – and we need you to vote for it.
There is no need to register for anything. You just log on to the Hold The Front Page website, scroll down to the vote and click on Reading Today and then submit your vote.
We are currently in second place, but it is very close. Every vote counts.

The March 2023 front page focused on issues relating to Ofsted inspections of schools, and was simply headed: “The Ofsted problem – Call for action over school inspections after headteacher’s death”.
It came about following the death by suicide of Caversham Primary School headteacher Ruth Perry, days after her school saw its rating downgraded to inadequate.
Her family made a call for reforms to the inspection system and, as a mark of respect and support for their campaign, we have chosen not to report on school Ofsted inspections until that has happened.
Every week, we aim to bring you front pages that stand out on newsagents and supermarket shelves, and we appreciate the recognition from our industry peers. Just to be shortlisted is an achievement.
