A WOKINGHAM school is pleased to announce the successful outcome of its recent OFSTED inspection.
Windmill Primary School in Wokingham has confirmed it has maintained its ‘good’ rating.
The visiting inspector said that pupils at Windmill Primary described their school as ‘warm, welcoming, and inclusive’.
The OFSTED report also describes a strong sense of teamwork and shared aspirations, leading to high standards.
It says that pupils are enthusiastic learners who arrive ‘keen to learn, dive enthusiastically into all that is on offer, and leave each day brimming with ideas’.
Nicola Cotter, headteacher of Windmill Primary School, said: “I’m delighted that this latest inspection has highlighted and reflected the excellent work of all our staff and pupils.
“We are so proud of all the achievements, and to be recognised for the high standards we consistently maintain is wonderful.

The OFSTED report reflects the ongoing commitment of Windmill Primary School to providing a high-quality education for its pupils, and indicates that it continues to operate at a good standard, as it did previously.
It highlights several key strengths of the school, including a rich curriculum and dedicated staff, a love of learning and impressive behaviour, strong early years provision, effective teaching of reading, a positive school ethos, support for all pupils, including disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND, a focus on well-being and wider development, and effective safeguarding.
The school prides itself on being a nurturing and vibrant school where inclusivity and diversity are celebrated as the cornerstones of its ethos.
