A WOKINGHAM charity that supports children and adults who have been exposed to domestic abuse has released the date for its next annual convention.
Speakers at Kaleidoscopic UK’s Domestic Abuse Prevention Convention will discuss ways to recognize, address, and prevent domestic abuse in communities.
Tickets are now on sale for the conference, which will include informative sessions, workshops and discussions.
Experts in the field and inspirational survivors will challenge myths, share best practise, and discuss ways to make a difference.
Speakers this year are: David Challen survivor and campaigner, Nina Aouilk survivor, campaigner and London Life Coach, Michelle John founder and CEO of PEGS, Aoife Delaney from the Traveller Movement, and Dr James Rowland lecturer in criminology, along with Bob Yang, Aruna Bansal and Jennifer Gilmour from the Domestic Abuse Commissioner’s Office.
The conference aims to inspire, educate and empower all delegates, whether individuals or part of an organisation, by advancing their knowledge, and providing useful tools.
The event will take place at Finchampstead Baptist Church, on Thursday, October 10, from 9.15am to 4.15pm.
