WOKINGHAM Cricket Club is preparing to celebrate Burns Night.
The event is open to everyone, regardless of Scottish connections and will be a traditional Scottish feast: cockaleekie soup for starters, haggis, neeps and tatties for the second course and a steak pie for mains. Dessert will be a Cranachan laced with Drambuie or a Scottish cheese board.
Vegetarian options will be available.
And, to ensure it’s a proper Burns supper, there will be bagpipes, Scottish dancing and the chance to try some whisky.
The event takes place on Friday, January 25 from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £32.50.
