Wokingham Festival is set to return this August Bank Holiday weekend, promising three days of live music, local talent, and family entertainment. The festival, which champions grassroots music while showcasing established acts, will feature over 40 artists across multiple stages.
Radio Wigwam, known for supporting independent music, will curate the second stage on Sunday, bringing a full day of live performances from emerging UK talent. Headliners for this stage include local alt-metal band One Last Day, alongside Purple Grace, Matt Kiano, Amy Dx, The Dazed Minded, Ro Jordan, Amity, and The Kokroachez.
Festival organiser Dean Nelson said: “Wokingham Festival has always been about bringing our community together, and 2026 is shaping up to be one of our best years yet. It’s a true family event – three days of amazing live music, brilliant food and drink, and a welcoming atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.”

The Dazed Minded – Reading-based indie sleaze garage rock band, mixing retro 2000s rock with modern hooks and harmonies.
Ro Jordan – an acclaimed acoustic performer whose single Winter Song drew attention from BBC Radio 1.

The Kokroachez – an Oxford alt-rock band celebrated for explosive live shows.

Main Stage Highlights
The main stage will host legendary acts including Crazy World of Arthur Brown, famed for his 1968 hit Fire, and theatrical, Hammond-driven performances that influenced progressive and shock rock. Sunday headliners The Ogretones, a nine-piece Shrek tribute band from Hampshire, promise a fun-filled night for all ages.

A Festival for All Ages
Beyond the music, the festival offers a family-friendly atmosphere with activities for children, a wide selection of food, and specialist real ales, ciders, and cocktails. The two alternating stages ensure music plays throughout the day without missing a beat.
