BOOKLOVERS can learn about novels of the 1930s at a meeting of a borough literary organisation.
Wokingham Literary Society will gather to explore the work of Agatha Christie, Margaret Mitchell, and Daphne du Maurier.
The session, led by Angela Wade, Sheila Wilson, Pat Vokes, is called, Novels of the 1930s: popular or problematic but still pertinent?
It focuses on the classic novels: And Then There Were None, by Christie; Gone With The Wind by Mitchell; and Rebecca, by du Maurier.
The event takes place at Wokingham Baptist Church, Milton Road, on Thursday, January 18.
Doors open at 7.30pm.
Visitors and new members are welcome, with entry costing £2.
