GARDENERS, crafters and bakers are invited to exhibit their produce in the borough this month.
The Wokingham Horticultural Association is looking forward to a colourful seasonal display of work and produce at its Autumn Show.
Janet Gordon from WHA said: “September is the time for sunny days, cool nights, golden leaves – and our Autumn Show.
“We’re keen to hear from anyone thinking of putting in an exhibit, be it flowers, vegetables or a cake.
“There are a lot of classes to enter, from pebble painting and poster colouring for young entrants, to flower arranging and baking for all ages and abilities.
“If you’ve grown a particularly heavy onion, a very long runner bean, or a beautiful dahlia you’re proud of , we’d love you to come and take part.”
As well as the exhibits, there will be crafts, a plant stall, a raffle, and homemade cakes and refreshments.
The event takes place at St Paul’s Parish Rooms, Wokingham, on Saturday, September 21.
Doors are open from 2pm until 4pm, and all are welcome.
Prize is at 3.45pm, with some exhibits then available, for a donation.
Tickets on the door cost £2 for adults, and are free for children.
