A WOKINGHAM man has been arrested after a teenager was seriously injured in a collision in Crowthorne on Saturday night.
The incident happened around 6.20pm on Saturday, September 23 on New Wokingham Road.
The driver of a blue BMW 320D lost control, went into an embankment and hit a tree.
The passenger, a man in his late teens, was treated in hospital for serious leg injuries. He is in a stable condition.
A 37-year-old man from Wokingham was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving a motor vehicle when above the legal alcohol limit, and driving a motor vehicle without insurance.
PC Martin Danks, of Thames Valley Police’s Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this collision.
“We would ask anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who has dash-cam or CCTV in the area to check their footage and please provide anything that they think may be of use to our investigation.
“We are also keen on obtaining information of any footage or witness information of the BMW prior to the collision.
