AN ESTIMATED 20,000 visitors came to Wokingham’s Winter Carnival, organised for the first time this year by Wokingham Lions Club.
With more than 120 stalls, and the town’s shops open for business, there was plenty for carnival goers to see and do.
A funfair stretched from Broad Street to Peach Street, visitors were entertained throughout the day by a variety of performers, and a spectacular laser show brought the event to an exciting close.
