A WOKINGHAM charity that provides a warm and friendly environment where older people can mix and socialise, invites the borough to save the day for their summer fair fundraiser.
Wade Day Care Centre offers lunches, activities, services and care for older people who want to see their friends, or who need a change of scene.
The organisation will host a Summer Fair, with a variety of stalls and activities, including a coconut shy, shoot-a-goal, hobby horses, and face painting.
Hot food, home baked cakes, a Pimms bar, and a tombola can also be enjoyed, with music from a live band.
The family friendly event will take place at Wade Day Centre, Reading Road, on Saturday, July 5.
Doors are open from 11am until 2pm, with tickets costing £1 for adults and free for children.
Free parking is available in the Masonic Hall car park opposite.
