A FUNDRAISING organisation in the borough is preparing an event that should get people’s grey matter moving.
Wokingham Lions Club’s February quiz night is one of many fundraising events the group will be running this year.
Wokingham Lions Club President, Lyn Baily, said: “Following the success of last September’s Quiz, the event will again be held in Woosehill.
“Bring your own drinks and nibbles, and we’ll supply the quiz and a great raffle, all in aid of local charities.
“Our popular resident Quiz Master Ian Grange will, as always, be in charge of proceedings.”
Teams of eight can participate in the fundraiser, which takes place at Woosehill Community Centre, on Friday, February 16.
Doors open at 7pm, with questions from 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £8.50 plus booking fee.
