A CHURCH service at Wellington College in Crowthorne will raise money for a charities chosen by Crowthorne, Sandhurst and Bracknell Rotarians.
The service of Nine Lessons and Carols will be supported by the Cecilia Singers, with music led by Rachel Riordan.
The service will be led by Revd Laura Wheatley Downs.
The traditional Anglican Christmas service tells the story of the Fall and Redemption of humankind through nine short Bible readings, or lessons, from Genesis to John, interspersed with Christmas carols, hymns, and anthems.
It will be followed by a mince pie and wine reception in the college’s Waterloo Hall dining room.
The event will take place in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Wellington College, on Friday, December 12.
Chapel doors open at 7.05pm for the service, which starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 each and must be purchased in advance.
Money raised will follow Crowthorne, Sandhurst, and Bracknell Rotary Club’s charitable theme of supporting people in need at Christmas.
