There’s plenty of festive cheer at Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst this December, with a Festive Fair, special teatime visits with Father Christmas and live music under the stars.
The Festive Fair is happening over the weekend of December 13 and 14 from 11am to 4pm. You can buy real Christmas trees at Dinton Activity Centre, enjoy children’s rides and activities, shop arts and craft stalls, and grab festive food and drink. Santa’s Grotto is also available to book in advance.
Step into the magic at The Coffee House until December 23 for Christmas tea with Father Christmas at 3.30pm on selected dates. Children can enjoy a teatime meal, hot cocoa with a Christmas cookie, festive stories and receive a special gift. A special SEN friendly session is available on Wednesday, December 3, with no music, low noise and limited numbers. Tickets cost £15 per child.
On Friday, December 19, from 6pm to 9pm, local wind band Second Wind will perform festive tunes at Dinton Activity Centre. The Coffee Deck will be open, and you can roast marshmallows at the fire pit. Gifts will also be available to purchase.
