MY CHRISTIAN faith helps me with the uncertainty that comes with a serious medical diagnosis.
God supports and loves me.
He knows me as a person, with all my problems, and can help me with them.
In the Bible there are many stories of Jesus healing people, including a blind man and a leper, and in each case the person being healed showed great faith.
Jesus also raised more than one person from the dead.
As a Christian the first thing I do in any situation is to pray about it.
Being part of a vibrant praying community can be a great support, and it really makes a difference to know that a great community of people are praying for me, and that they love and care about me.
Prayer is a fundamental part of the Christian faith, so I frequently pray for good health for people – and for myself.
I have faith in God, and I know that He answers prayers.
He’s performed many miracles, including healing, in the past.
He can do so in the present, too, and I’m inspired by reading how about so many people Jesus healed.
God wants us all to live a full and enjoyable life, and all healing comes from Him.
My faith, others praying for me, and knowing that God loves me, all contribute to my very positive mindset.
