WOKINGHAM resident Dalia Ismail was diagnosed with breast cancer nearly three years ago.
Despite having undergone surgery and cancer treatment, she has since climbed the Himalayas with a team of other cancer surviving fundraisers, to raise money for breast cancer charity Coppafeel.
Her first Wokingham food event, a Coppa-Curry Night in February was a great success, raising £1,400 in one night.
Returning to the Tamarind Tree restaurant for a second, this time for a spring edition curry night, she hopes to fill tables once again and raise another considerable sum for Coppafeel.
Dalia is passionate about the charity, which raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, especially in young people who may not be aware that the condition can affect them too.
“All proceeds will go to breast cancer charity Coppafeel, to help support their mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer,” she said.
Dalia’s Coppa-Curry Night will take place at Wokingham’s Tamarind Tree restaurant, on Tuesday, May 20, at 6.30pm.
Tickets costing £25 per person, include mixed starters and a selection of curries, with rice and naan.
Drinks are extra.
