A BOROUGH Lions group is holding an event that should exercise people’s grey matter, while supporting good causes.
Deborah Morton from Woodley and Earley Lions Club said: “We’ll be raising funds for charity with a fun quiz night.
“People can play in teams of up to six, and the quiz master for the evening will be our president, Mr Mike Kennedy.
“There will be a bottle of wine prize for each of the six members of the winning team.”
Quizzers are invited to bring their own drinks and refreshments, including alcohol if they wish, as these will not be available from the venue.
The fundraiser will take place at Coronation Hall, Headley Road, Woodley, on Saturday, September 28.
Doors open at 7pm, with the quiz beginning at 7.15pm.
Tickets cost £8, and must be purchased in advance from the Lions.
