A WOKINGHAM social hub for older people in the borough is holding an April fundraiser.
WADE Day Centre’s event will have participants chewing their pencils over a range of questions as they take part in a Quiz Night.
Teams of up to six people will be able to battle it out to be brains of Wokingham, with quizzers invited to bring their own drinks and snacks for the tables.
There will be prizes and a raffle during the evening, as part of the fundraiser.
All proceeds will raise money for WADE Day Centre, the only one in Wokingham.
“You must agree, it’s a great cause,” said Sue English from WADE, “And one that we all might need one day…”
The event will take place at WADE Day Centre, Reading Road, Wokingham, on Thursday, April 23.
Arrival is at 6.30pm, with the questions beginning at 7pm.
Tickets cost £15 per person, and can be booked as a table of six, or as individuals to be allotted a table by the organisers.
They are available from the WADE shop in Wokingham, or by contacting the day centre, at: 0118 978 7025.
