A WOKINGHAM charity that supports domestic abuse survivors throughout England and Wales is preparing a sparkling festive evening that promises to create magical memories.
In collaboration with Noushka Design, Kaleidoscopic UK will hold a Winter Wonderland Charity Ball, to support its work with and for survivors.
“From the moment you arrive we promise a night of festive fun, lively entertainment, and unforgettable memories,” said founder and CEO of Kaleidoscopic UK Vickie Robertson.
Guests are invited to embrace the magic by dressing glamorously for the occasion, and will be able to enjoy a drink on arrival, a three course festive dinner, dance music provided by a DJ, a photobooth, and plenty of surprises to be shared in the coming months.
The three course dinner includes festive delicacies; butternut soup/ chicken and cranbury terrine/ salmon gravadlax; turkey/ sea bass/ vegetable wellington, and white chocolate mousse/ berry panacotta/ orange and cranberry tart.
“We can’t wait to welcome you all, and invite you to dance the night away, as together we raise funds for a wonderful cause,” said Vickie.
Tickets can be purchased singly, or as a group, and this year, businesses and individuals are invited to sponsor a table for five domestic abuse survivors by buying a Pay-It-Forward ticket.
Even if they, themselves, are not able to attend the event, their generosity can allow others to take part who would be otherwise unable.
Sponsoring a table, says the charity, will give survivors of domestic abuse the chance to enjoy a hopeful and festive atmosphere, where they are honoured – not defined – by their past.
The event will take place at Cantley House Hotel, Wokingham, and the hotel is offering discounted room rates for guests wishing to stay afterwards.
Tickets for the event cost £95 per individual, or £450 for a table of five, with a Pay-It-Forward gift for a table of 5 survivors costing £450.
Tables for 10 and 12 people can also be booked.
Funds raised by the event will benefit Kaleidoscopic.
The charity, not only supports children and adults who have been exposed to domestic abuse, but also seeks to advance education of voluntary and statutory services, through the eyes of survivors, about all forms of domestic abuse and its harmful effects.
