AT A Wokingham day Centre preparations are under way for the organisation’s annual Christmas event.
The Wade Christmas Fair promises fun and games for all ages, as well as fine cakes to buy whole, or sponge slices to be enjoyed with a hot drink.
There will be stalls selling lots of preserves, say the organisers; including Christmas goods, stocking fillers, a bottle tombola and a grand raffle.
Sue English, from WADE, said: “Father Christmas will be with us, too.
“Do come and join in all the fun.”
The day centre supports older people with the chance to be able to enjoy home cooked lunches, activities, services, and a friendly environment in which to socialise.
The fair will take place at the WADE Day Centre, on Reading Road, on Saturday, November 29, from 11am until 2pm.
Proceeds will support the day centre.
Entry costs £1 for adults, or free for children.
