POLICE have said they have arrested a man on suspicion of assault.
On Saturday, they appealed for help to trace a man from Arborfield. They now say that as a result of this arrest, they are no longer appealing for information to find him.
The 28-year-old man from Arborfield was arrested yesterday – Sunday, January 27 – in connection with an assault of a woman in her twenties which is alleged to have occurred in Reading on Monday, January 21.
The man is currently in police custody.
