Reading FC Women will begin their 2026 league campaign in front of a home crowd as they welcome Winchester City Flyers to Arbour Park.
The Royals return to competitive action on Sunday with a 2pm kick-off, marking their first fixture of the new year and an early opportunity to build momentum in the league.
Ed Jackson-Norris’ side will be hoping home advantage can play a key role as they look to make a positive start to the year, with Arbour Park once again hosting the women’s team for the encounter.
The Royals are competing in the Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, the fifth tier of the English women’s football pyramid, a long way below the Women’s Super League where the club competed for almost a decade. But it remains crucial platform in the club’s rebuilding journey following recent challenges.
Supporters are being encouraged to turn out and back the Royals, with tickets available online ahead of matchday. The club has highlighted the fixture as a chance for fans to come together and mark the start of 2026 with live football.
Following that the Royals will host Wycombe Wanderers and then Beaconsfield Town.
The matches will take place at Arbour Park in Slough (SL5 2AY), with kick-off scheduled for 2pm.
