A SHINFIELD man is the second person to be charged with the alleged murder of a cyclist in Reading last month.
On Wednesday, February 14, Vignesh Raman was involved in a road traffic collision between his bike and an unspecified vehicle. The incident took place on Addington Road, around 11.50pm.
The 36-year-old died from his injures while he was at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, and Thames Valley Police launched a murder investigation.
Soiheem Hussain, aged 27, of Rossby, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday, February 28, and charged with one count of murder yesterday.
He is due to appear at Reading Magistrates Court today – Friday, March 1.
Thames Valley Police said that a 20-year-old woman from Reading was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on Wednesday, February 21, and has been released on bail.
