WOKINGHAM in Bloom has packets of vegetables to give away to people new to gardening.
Each year the group runs a project called Wokingham Harvest where they give out small seed selections for aspiring growers to help them have a successful first year.
Packages of easy-to-grow, blight and bolting-resistant seeds, including tomatoes, salads and beetroot are available, with enough seeds for a small garden or allotment plot.
Seeds can be picked up from Wokingham Information Centre, in the Town Hall, on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, from 10am until 2pm.
They are available from Wednesday, March 6.
Anyone unable to collect during the opening hours should email: [email protected].
