THIS BANK holiday Monday there’s a special family day out with lots of entertainment in a borough town.
The Wokingham May Fayre, organised by Wokingham Lions Club, is an annual fundraiser for borough charities.
Families can enjoy a day out with activities for all, including: a kiddies funfair, stage performances throughout the day, a children’s zoo, ferret racing, walkabout entertainment, and Morris dancers.
Visitors can also expect 100 market stalls, food vendors selling meals, snacks, ice cream and drinks, and a picnic area in Elms Field.

Entry is free.

Where is it happening?
The main stage is at the top of Denmark Street, opposite W H Smith.
Stalls then extend down Denmark Street and through Erftstadt Court towards Elms Field. The funfair is on Elms Field along with other rides and food vendors, and an events marquee.

Stalls and attractions are available throughout the day, on Monday, May 6, from 10am until 5pm.
