A CHARITY organisation is holding a volunteer fair for people who have some spare time, and want to help their local community.
Wokingham Volunteer Centre says that giving a gift of time to a charity is a great way to contribute to the borough, and benefits the giver too.
The organisation’s next Volunteer Recruitment Fair will feature lots of local groups looking for befrienders, advisers, gardeners, drivers, readers and listeners to support people in the borough.
The event is free to the general public and there is no need to book.
It takes place at Wokingham Town Hall, on Saturday, February 10.
Doors are open from 10am until 1pm, and people can turn up anytime within that window.
