Thames Valley Police have confirmed the identity of a woman who died in Henley-on-Thames last week.
Officers were called to Phyllis Court Drive on Friday, 6 March, following the death of a woman. She has been named as Jennifer Symonds, 44, from Henley-on-Thames. Formal identification procedures will follow.
Her next of kin are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers. Thames Valley Police said their thoughts remain with the family, who have requested privacy at this difficult time.
A 44-year-old man, Nelio Gouveia, of Phyllis Court Drive, Henley-on-Thames, has been charged with one count of murder. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Wednesday, 11 March.
Police have said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
