A CHILDREN’S author will be visiting the borough, giving young writers the chance to explore their passion for stories.
Eva Wong Nava, a previous guest speaker at the Wokingham Children’s Book Festival, writes for children of various ages.
She is passionate about reading for pleasure, and writes stories to entertain, enthral and enliven children’s imaginations, always filling each story with love and magic, even when these stories are non-fiction.
When not writing, she teaches the art of creative writing to teens and adults.
Eva will be at Trinity Hall Church, Lower Earley on Monday May 12, from 4pm until 5pm.
The event, suitable for ages eight and above, is free to attend, but booking is required.
The Wokingham branch of Waterstones will be offering a discount on her books, Dancing Dumplings, and, I Love Chinese New Year, for all ticket holders (while stocks last).
