A MUSIC group is offering a free taster session at one of its rehearsals in Finchampstead.
The Blend Choir gives people an opportunity to sing, socialise and have fun together, say organisers.
Set up in 2013 the group has grown to six choirs, with around 200 members.
The singers have enjoyed performing at The Olivier Awards, West End Live, Disneyland Paris, The Ideal Home Show, The London A Cappella Festival, and Bicester Village.
All six ensembles also come together annually to perform summer and Christmas charity concerts.
Previously they have supported Lymphoma Action, Alzheimer’s Society, Brain Tumour Charity, Child Bereavement UK, and local food banks.
The group’s musical repertoire includes a wide range of musical styles from musical theatre, and Disney, to Mowtown and rock/pop favourites.
People are not pressured to sing solo lines or even to perform, with some members prefering to come along each week to sing, without taking part in the concerts and events.
Singing in a group creates a great sense of community, say organisers, and has been proven to have many health benefits, both physically and psychologically.
The choir meets at the Finchampstead Baptist Centre, Gorse Ride on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm until 9pm.
There are no auditions, no sheet music, and everyone is welcome.
Anyone interested in joining should register for a free trial session.
