One of the biggest events to ever take place in Finchampstead is set to happen on Friday, June 12.
Finchampstead cricket club will host a prestigious charity match, sponsored by Nirvana Spa, at the Memorial Park.
The event will feature a match between Finchampstead and an ex-England legends team from the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA.
The match will start at 3.00pm and players are set to include Alex Tudor, Owais Shah, Monty Panesar, Andy Caddick and Saj Mahmood.
A spokesperson said: “This isn’t just a celebration of cricket, it’s a vital fundraising initiative for our great club.
“While spectators can enjoy the match free of charge, we aim to raise significant funds through premium activities.”

An exclusive lunch will also be part of the day, with live and silent auctions.
Tables of 10 available for £1,000., with upgrades to £1,200 to have a PCA player host your table.
There will also be family fun from 3pm until 9pm, with a BBQ, ice cream, raffle and live music.
